|
Submit the documents |
When you have assembled the required documents, you can drop them off University Receptionist, Eisenhower Campus Center, or email them to dkirsch@messiah.edu. |
Results |
The MVR authorization forms are sent weekly to the university's insurance agency for processing to determine whether to approve you or not. Once the university receives the results, you will receive an email indicating your status - approved or denied. The turnaround time from the insurance company is typically fast, but it may take up to two weeks. |
Remaining on the list |
The approved status is valid for:
The university may suspend your driving privileges before that date if you:
|
Vehicle Types |
All approved drivers may drive cars and minivans. If you wish to drive a 15-passenger van, you must pass the road test conducted by the Department of Safety. Instructions on how to sign up for a road test are given in the approved driver email. |
15-passenger van testing |
If you were previously approved to drive a 15- passenger van and did not allow your overall approval status to expire beyond six months, then you do not have to retake the behind-the-wheel test. Before scheduling a road test, you must have received the confirmation email that you are an approved driver. From FalconLink, select the "All Training Classes" card. From the dropdown box, select "15-Passenger Road Test" and select and available date/time slot. You will receive a confirmation email of your test date. |
